How Will ARM Chip Powered Devices Limit Microsoft Windows 10? Here Is What You Need To Know

ARM chip powered devices have been announced a while back and we have seen a few of them running Windows 10. While these chips are not too powerful they should get the job done when it comes to every day use and here we are going to talk about how ARM chip powered devices will limit Windows 10. The Windows 10 limitations were most probably posted online by mistake as they were taken off a while later. You can check out the Windows 10 limitations below: 64-bit apps will not work. Windows 10 on ARM will be able to run Windows desktop applications but it will only be able to run 32-bit (x86) desktop applications, not 64-bit (x64) applications. While that might be the case according to the leaked document but you should know that support for x64 applications has been planned for the near future. Certain classes of apps will not run. Utilities that modify the Windows user interface like the shell extensions, input method editors, assistive technologies, and cloud storage apps will not work when it comes to Windows 10 on ARM.
