Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been confirmed as Manchester United’s permanent manager after a successful spell in caretaker charge. The Norwegian has penned a three-year year deal at Old Trafford after winning 14 of his 19 matches in the hot seat so far. Under his stewardship, the Red Devils have closed to within two points of the top four and have reached the quarter-finals of the Champions League. Solskjaer replaced Jose Mourinho in December and has been credited with turning United’s season around.
