Bogor, West Java (ANTARA) – United States Ambassador to Indonesia Joseph Donovan held a dedication ceremony of the new US Embassy in Jakarta on Tuesday by emphasizing that the US and Indonesia would celebrate 70 years of diplomatic ties this year. “I am delighted to welcome you to the new US Embassy building and am privileged to have the honor of dedicating our new home here in Jakarta, which houses both the US Mission to Indonesia and the US Mission to ASEAN,” Ambassador Donovan said. “This celebration comes at a very opportune time, as this year, we are also celebrating 70 years of diplomatic ties between the United States and Indonesia,” he told the attendees of the dedication ceremony.
