Nintendo Switch Sports is no longer top of the UK retail sales chart, as the new PS5 console bundle has a major impact on the top 10. It may be one of the worst summer game droughts in recent memory but, surprisingly, the UK does have a new number one this week, although it's not as a result of a new release – or at least not a new software one. Horizon Forbidden West has returned to the top spot not just because the PlayStation 5 in general is back in stock but because a new bundle includes the game by default. Even though it's a digital copy it's counted in the retail charts because it's part of a boxed product. There were no genuine new entries in the top 10 but a little lower down, at number 20, Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong did manage to do surprisingly well.
