A BRITISH gamer's attempt to raise money for family and child support charity Mermaids has gone global, raising £210,000 and counting. An initial optimistic goal of $5,000 was smashed as the 24-hour stream was extended with help from other gamers and activists with upwards of 640,000 people watching British YouTuber H.Bomberguy, real name Harry Brewis, play through Donkey Kong 64. The stream, organised by Brewis and fellow streamer CaseyExplosion, featured YouTubers, celebrities, and politicians as well as guests from the world of gaming. Ok I have an issue with several meshes that have a lower poly count in blender, then when I export as fbx and bring into unity, the poly/vertex count skyrockets. I read here https://forum.unity.com/threads/why-does-light-add-verts-and-tris.291872/ that Unity recalculates many more for realtime lights, but I have no lights in my scene and lighting is on baked: Here are mesh import settings: The poly count is dragging down fps significantly (by 10) and I need to fix this.
