THE time of year has come again and the Golden Joystick Awards kicks-off in just a few short hours after another stellar year for the gaming industry. The great and good from across the trade will attend the glitzy bash – backed by The Sun – in London on Friday 16 November. And you can join us for the 36th annual ceremony, with the pre-show kicking off at 3pm GMT on the event's official Twitch channel. The Golden Joysticks then start at 4pm GMT, hosted by comedian Danny Wallace, with 23 awards to be handed out in total. Gamers from across the globe voted in their millions over the past seven weeks, on categories such as the Ultimate Game of the Year. SAMSUNG has unveiled its new foldable phone display that turns a normal-sized mobile phone into a large tablet. Here's what we know so far about when it will be released and what it looks like. What is the Samsung Infinity Flex? Since the South Korean company experienced steep declines in profit, they have been working hard to develop a new technology that will overtake Apple. Samsung's foldable device is a two-in-one tablet-cum-mobile phone which folds out to double in size. When folded out the prototype measures 18.5cm (7.3in) diagonally. The phone appears to be much thicker than a standard modern mobile phone when it is folded up. Samsung described their Infinity Flex Display as "the foundation of the smartphone of tomorrow".
