Now, professional Fortnite player Turner “Tfue” Tenney announced that he would be taking a break from streaming. Tenney announced that he was “taking some time off streaming,” as part of a recent series of tweets. The player did not give any specific details of why he was taking a break, or how long it would take. However, his succeeding tweets confirmed that he was generally unhappy. “I have anything I could ask for in life but for some reason I’m not happy lately,” stated Tenney. Famous Fortnite player and streamer Nick Eh 30 is making the move from YouTube to Twitch. He made the announcement via a short YouTube video that will probably be his last on the platform. Ninja’s migration from Twitch to Mixer may have prompted the top streaming platforms to court popular streamers, with Nick Eh 30’s move being one of the latest deals. Nicholas “Nick Eh 30” Amyoony, the well-known Canadian/Lebanese Fortnite streamer, has a following of over 4.6 million viewers. He started his channel by late 2014, and saw it rise to fame by the middle of 2018. Nick Eh 30 will start broadcasting exclusively on Twitch beginning September 1. Fortnite has enjoyed many crossovers with other pop media in the past. This includes the infamous Fortnite-Infinity War crossover last year which saw Thanos doing the Fortnite dance. And now, according to speculations, IT will crossover with Fortnite. As much as you try to rationalize it, it sounds insane. IT: Chapter 2 has a lot of grown up themes, gory horror and actual horror. Fortnite, a game which has mostly teenagers and younger children at the core of its player base. Throwing them together would not make sense? And that’s why it might turn out to be a fake rumor. Epic Games has given a definitive statement regarding the presence of B.R.U.T.E.S. in Fortnite and said that they are here to stay. The Mechas were introduced in the beginning of Season 10. Players have had objections to them because they have been thought of as too overpowered. Fortnite has responded with the statement attached below. They say that even though the B.R.U.T.Es are powerful, statistics have shown that the eliminations that they cause on average are just enough that the game is not unbalanced. The first content update for Fortnite season X is sending Tilted Towers back in time. Along with transporting part of the map back to the Old West, this update to patch v10.00 also adds the new Automatic Sniper Rifle to the game as well as adding in a fan favorite game mode from other shooters. The patch’s biggest addition is turning Neo Tilted into Tilted Town, an Old West styles town complete with a saloon, a gunsmith and a sepia color-filter. The town also includes unvaulted, western-themed weapons like the Double Barrel Shotgun, the Infantry Rifle, the Six Shooter, and the Hunting Rifle. Perhaps the most jarring change about Tilted Town is that you can’t harvest or build inside it. According to the patch notes, this was caused by a Rift Zone near Neo Tilted, which means that we could be seeing time traveling hops at all different kinds of locations around the map in the future.
