The Equinox 2019 event is now underway in Pokemon GO, giving players the chance to add more Grass-type Pokemon to their collection as well as complete some new Field Research tasks. Another twist to this event is the addition of two new shinies to the mobile ARG, Solrock and Lunatone. An interesting fact is that this is also the first time a region-exclusive pair has received their shiny forms. As part of this event, Solrock and Lunatone also switched regions. Solrock can now be found in the Americas and Africa, whereas Lunatone is now in Europe, Asia, and Australia. It stands to reason that these shiny forms will remain after the event ends, so those wanting shinies of each will simply need to wait for the next Pokemon GO rotation. Pokemon GO players will also want to be cautious when hunting these shiny forms. The game will indicate that they are shiny, but for this pair, it can be somewhat hard to tell by simply looking, especially for Lunatone. The crescent moon-based … [Read more...] about Pokemon GO Adds Shiny Solrock and Lunatone
Last year, it was announced that Call of Duty: Mobile, a forthcoming entry in the first-person shooter franchise that is intended for iOS and Android devices, was on its way to China. Now, it seems that more players will have an opportunity to play Call of Duty on the go, as Activision has confirmed the game’s launch for the West. Call of Duty: Mobile will be free-to-play, and it looks to bring together “a collection of beloved Call of Duty characters, maps, modes, and weapons” culled from across the series. This will include maps like Nuketown and Crash, which are seen in an announcement trailer that was recently shared. This trailer also offers more details on what fans can expect from the mobile title. While, of course, it gives a look at gameplay, it further emphasizes Call of Duty: Mobile‘s focus on “signature multiplayer” and fighting alongside friends.Additionally, there are some teases near the end of the video that … [Read more...] about Call of Duty: Mobile Beta Pre-Registers Open Ahead of Western Release
Ever since Fortnite went mobile, parents and teachers alike have been citing the battle royale as a frequent distraction for children in the classroom. In fact, Epic even added a special message to the game after a teacher asked the company to help him get his students to pay attention. However, there are certainly other venues for distracted Fortnite players, and it seems that Major League Baseball can count itself as one of them. Apparently, the Philadelphia Phillies have a Fortnite problem, with some players choosing to spend portions of a game against the Atlanta Braves, which occurred last September, playing the shooter sensation in the clubhouse. This was not looked upon kindly by veteran first baseman Carlos Santana, and the report indicates that he “grabbed a bat, retreated to the room at Citizens Bank Park where the gaming took place, and smashed the TV.” This act took place at the end of the game, which marked the Phillies’ … [Read more...] about MLB Player Smashed TV Because Teammates Were Playing Fortnite
Fortnite Battle Royale players currently have several tasks to take care of for Season 8 Week 3‘s Battle Pass challenges, but it’s safe to say that plenty of fans are preparing themselves for what’s to come around the bend. As it so happens, the Battle Pass challenges for Season 8 Week 4 have leaked ahead of Epic Games officially adding them to the free-to-play multiplayer shooter, potentially giving fans a better idea of what kind of feats they will be charged with once the newest list goes live. Before diving head first into the leaked list of Fortnite Battle Royale’s Season 8 Week 4 Battle Pass challenges, it must be noted that there’s always the possibility that the tasks on display may not be a part of the finalized list that Epic Games shares later on this week. There’s always time in between now and then for the studio to change, tweak, or even remove any of the challenges being shared in the leaked list, so it’s important to … [Read more...] about Fortnite Season 8 Week 4 Challenges Leaked
Pokemon GO officially unveiled its Spring Equinox event yesterday, which is slated to begin on March 19 and run through March 26. The developer Niantic has confirmed increased Grass-type spawns, new Field Research, new Raid Bosses, and more. Like other Pokemon GO events, there will likely be smaller bonuses accompanying this, but one growing rumor is that Niantic will use this event to finally add Glaceon and Leafeon as one of the bonuses. Before moving forward, it’s worth highlighting that this is entirely speculation and has not been confirmed by Niantic. It should also be brought up that this isn’t the first time the masses hoped Niantic would add Glaceon and Leafeon. During the Eevee Community Day, many thought their time had come because of the two-day nature of the event. This didn’t come to fruition, of course, as neither has yet to appear in Pokemon GO. There are arguments to be made both ways that suggest Niantic could add or not add these Pokemon. … [Read more...] about Pokemon GO: Glaceon, Leafeon Coming in Equinox Event?
