Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 developer Treyarch has already made some major changes to the game’s Blackout battle royale mode following the recent beta, such as adjusting body armor as a result of fan feedback. But it’s not just body armor and player counts that are subject to change in the run-up to release as the inclusion of custom games is also up in the air. In a recent interview with Game Informer, Treyarch’s studio design director, David Vonderhaar, played it coy when asked about custom games. The Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 developer said “I hope” that the team will be able to implement custom games and his boss thinks it’s a “great idea”, Vonderhaar stopped short of confirming the feature. “I cannot confirm or deny such a thing,” said the developer.Vonderhaar also said that there is a “vision” of how custom games would work and that the team is already putting some things in place to facilitate custom game … [Read more...] about Will Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Blackout Have Custom Games?
Last week, Square Enix and Eidos Montreal wrapped up their version of Lara Croft’s origin story with Shadow of the Tomb Raider. While the newest adventure sees the conclusion of Lara’s journey to become the character she’s know for, it appears an alternate ending was scrapped from the story’s original version. While Eidos Montreal was quick to jump on the issue, it couldn’t stop some players from running into the alternate ending, and has caused a bit of a stir with players. According to an article from Kotaku, anyone who bought a physical copy of Shadow of the Tomb Raider and finished the main story without downloading the game’s day-one patch ran into a post-credits scene that the patch is intended to remove. Seeing as how the recent trilogy reboot centers around Lara becoming the Tomb Raider she’s been known as for decades, it appears the discovered post-credit scene has significant ties to the original 1996 PlayStation 1 … [Read more...] about Shadow of the Tomb Raider Cut Ending Had Major Connection to Original Game
Grunt Birthday Party is perhaps one of the most ridiculous Easter Eggs in the history of gaming, and now it has made its way to Destiny 2. Thanks to the Wall of Wishes in the Last Wish raid, players can cast wishes to alter the raid in different ways, and one of them recreates the infamous Halo Easter Egg within the Last Wish raid. Here is how players can activate Grunt Birthday Party to add a little flair to the Last Wish raid. The first thing Destiny 2 players need to do is load into Last Wish and head to the Wall of Wishes. To get to the Wall of Wishes, players will want to head toward the first encounter but do not go in. Instead, head over to the left of the doorway toward the water and jump up on a ledge with a glowing blue plant. Players will want to follow a series of ledges and glowing plants until they are in front of the Wall of Wishes. Once there, players should shoot the plates on the wall until they have the combination below, and then step on the floorplate to cast the … [Read more...] about Destiny 2: How to Activate Grunt Birthday Party in the Last Wish Raid
Earlier this week, Devil May Cry 5 developer Capcom uploaded a new trailer for the action-adventure hack and slash game, complete with a new theme song for series protagonist Dante. However, it was abruptly removed due to the backlash over the theme song. Created by American deathcore band Suicide Silence, Dante’s Devil May Cry 5 theme song was titled “Subhuman.” When the trailer went live, many also looked into the band behind this song. It was quickly discovered and shared that the vocalist, Eddie Hermida, was accused of having a relationship with and sexually harassing a 16-year-old fan. The sexual harassment included pressure for nude photos, but Hermida claimed he waited until she was 18 to ask anything sexual and that she lied to him about her age.As a result, fans have frequently tweeted at the Devil May Cry 5 producer Matt Walker, and the video was taken down. Following this discovery, Capcom issued the following statement: … [Read more...] about Devil May Cry 5: Here’s Why Capcom Pulled Dante’s Theme Song
After each new Destiny raid releases and players make their way through the encounters, most are happy to just get through the boss fight or puzzle, collect their loot, and move on. However, some of Destiny’s elite have a question lingering in the back of their minds, “What is the minimum amount of people necessary to complete this encounter?” For each encounter, most players figured a minimum count, and then these elite players surpass those expectations. And now it has happened again, with the 2-man Riven completion. At the bare minimum, most figured that there would need to be 4 players to complete the Riven boss fight in the Last Wish raid. And 4 player teams did manage to beat the encounter. But then a few exploits were discovered, and now a 2-man team has done it. The team in question features Gladd from Redeem (the clan that got World’s First on Last Wish) and Slayerage from The Legend Himself (who recently solo’d the first boss fight). It took the … [Read more...] about Destiny 2 Team Beats Final Last Wish Boss With Only Two Players
