By Brandon Davis - April 8, 2019 04:19 pm EDT Share 2 Comments 2 There's been a popular theory for Avengers: Endgame going around on the Internet. It's become a popular meme across social media and now it has been brought to the attention of the Russo Brothers. Some fans think the key to defeating Thanos is having Ant-Man shrink down to a size small enough to infiltrate the butt of Thanos before expanding and ripping the Mad Titan to shreads. While this sounds like a brutal way to defeat Thanos, the truth is it will probably end worse for Ant-Man than anyone else. "Listen, here's the thing," Avengers: Endgame co-director Joe Russo said an in interview with ComicBook.com. "Thanos is incredibly strong. His skin is almost impervious. The question would be what would happen to Ant-Man if he did that. Would it work? Would it not work? If it didn't work, it would be really bad." Although Doctor Strange saw the ending of Avengers: Endgame more than 14 million times, … [Read more...] about ‘Avengers: Endgame’ Directors on That Ant-Man and Thanos Butt Theory
By Russ Burlingame - December 5, 2019 11:26 pm EST Share 0 Comments 0 Could a viral fan theory be coming to life -- but in the wrong universe? Remember back when Avengers: Endgame was coming to theaters and everyone was talking about how unstoppable Thanos seemed in Infinity War? This is back before they realized that the Mad Titan was going to get his head cut off in the first few minutes of Endgame, and there was a working theory that the Avengers, working at half-power, would have to figure out a way to defeat what would basically have been a full-powered Thanos. The most popular -- never especially likely, but popular -- theory held that Ant-Man could kill Thanos by becoming incredibly small, crawling up Thanos's purple butt, and then expanding himself to Giant Man size, blowing up Thanos from the inside. It's the kind of thing that fans have seen size-changing characters do in the comics before. For the sake of Endgame, though, it never seemed especially … [Read more...] about Is Legends of Tomorrow Doing the NSFW Thanos/Ant-Man Idea?
By Brandon Davis - April 2, 2019 03:37 pm EDT Share 0 Comments 0 During STXFilms' presentation at CinemaCon in Las Vegas, Guardians of the Galaxy star Dave Bautista continued to show off just how busy his schedule can be. With WrestleMania on the horizon and an expected appearance in Avengers: Endgame, Bautista also has another new movie on the way (and more behind it). Coming out later this year, Bautista will appear in My Spy. During the studio's Caesar's Palace Coloseum presentation, the first official look at the movie was shown to an audience comprised of movie theater owners and press. In the movie, Bautista’s character is everything but good with people. He's a shoot first, ask questions later kind of guy. He excels at fighting and killing -- and looking cool while walking away from explosions. Bautista's character's name is JJ, and he blows stuff up a little too often, so his boss played by Ken Jeong thinks he isn’t cut out for … [Read more...] about ‘Guardians Of The Galaxy’ Star Dave Bautista Reveals First Look at ‘My Spy’
By Brandon Davis - February 25, 2019 12:15 am EST Share 7 Comments 7 The rumor of Black Widow being rated "R" can finally be laid to rest. Speaking to Comicbook.com in an exclusive interview at an event in promotion of Captain Marvel's upcoming release, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige officially ruled out the possibility of the upcoming Marvel Studios film having an R-rating. This means fans can expect the character to maintain her PG-13 roots, dodging overly violent action sequences, harsh foul language, or other content which would make it inaccessible for younger audiences. When asked if the rumor of Black Widow being R-rated can be officially squashed, Feige said, "Yes. Correct." "It never was going to be," Feige said. "Somebody writes, 'I hear it's R-rated!' And then everybody writes it up." As it turns out, the rumor was never anything more than just that. The studio is not yet ready to officially announce movies beyond Avengers: Endgame or … [Read more...] about ‘Black Widow’: Kevin Feige Rules Out R-Rating
