Today, coming off the back of new GTA 6 rumors, Rockstar Games released a new GTA Online update on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Dubbed, Open Wheel Racing, the update more or less turns the gaming into a racing simulator. No really, there's a whole two-wheel racing game within GTA Online, which continues to be Rockstar Games' sandbox to do crazy things. The update features two brand new open-wheel vehicles, seven tracks, and of course plenty of massive crashes. … [Read more...] about New GTA Online Update Turns the Game Into a Racing Sim

The Scribes – Pyre The land you roam in this mythical netball ‘em up is called the Downside, and it is prison, purgatory and banishment all rolled together in one handy landscape. You get exiled here by the theolords of the upper kingdom when you’ve done something naughty, such as read a book. It’s dreadful. Everyone up there is foaming at the mouth with praise for eight ancient “scribes” – essentially gods – so much that they’ve banned reading. But as you and your RPG pals stumble through the world of exiles, flipping through an old book between games of a weird traditional undersport, it starts to seem likely those old gods were just chumps like yourselves, their stories twisted and mythologised thanks to eons of oral storytelling. As I eluded to earlier, KoF XIII is a looker, especially so in motion. It’s particularly apparent in the gorgeous backgrounds. Not only does it have more detail than it has any right to have, but the settings for each fight are unique. My favourite stages are the ones that have a ton of people cheering you on, from London’s unhygienic busses, to fighting among overweight diners in the Champs-Élysées. I do worry about every single spectator getting whiplash though. They do go a bit overboard at the end of a match. … [Read more...] about Have You Played… The King Of Fighters XIII?
