Trouble getting hold of a graphics card right now? There's something of a perfect storm for GPU shortages today as demand surges, supply wanes, and cryptocurrency mining makes a comeback. Nvidia's partial answer has been to implement a Ethereum mining limiter on its latest GPU, the RTX 3060 12GB , and it could well be planning more of the same for future launches, including the RTX 3080 Ti. Today at a presentation at CinemaCon in Las Vegas, Warner Bros. CEO Kevin Tsujihara confirmed what had been expected: that it is working on a new, standalone Batman movie with Ben Affleck. Speaking about the film company's upcoming lineup, the executive finally made it official. "We're working with Ben Affleck on a standalone Batman movie," Tsujihara said, as reported by Comicbook.com . Today's confirmation follows comments from a talent agency executive , who said in March that Affleck is signed up to play the Caped Crusader in the two upcoming Justice League movies and has ideas for another film beyond that. "He's contracted to do at least Justice League One and Two , so at least three times wearing the cape," WME co-CEO Patrick Whitesell said, going on to say, "There's a script that he's written that is a really cool [Batman] idea, so that's out there as an option." Despite a lukewarm critical reception, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice continues to climb the box office charts, now passing $500 million worldwide after its first five days. Variety reports that the superhero showdown movie made $12.2 million on Tuesday in the US and $32.9 million internationally, pushing the film to $501.9 million worldwide since its debut on March 25. Following 2013's Man of Steel , Batman v Superman is the first in a new DC Comics cinematic universe series, with spinoffs and sequels for the two title characters, along with the villains, to come later. Director Zack Snyder is also going to be behind the camera for the upcoming Justice League movies.
