Never has that been as relevant as when the debut trailer for a movie version of the Cats musical made its debut at Comic-Con on day one.Except, in this specific case the scientists are visual effects artist whose hubris has given birth to things that should not exist. Those things happen to be anthropomorphic cats played by Idris Elba, Rebel Wilson, Judi Dench, Ian McKellen, James Corden, Taylor Swift, and many other well-known celebrities.James Corden is a fat cat wearing a top hat and bumping other human cats with his belly. Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is the final movie in the current trilogy of Star Wars films, and it hits theaters in just over a month. Ahead of this highly-anticipated film, new images and details about what fans can expect have been revealed.The images come via Entertainment Weekly. They show many of the returning characters, and a couple of new ones. There's Rey (Daisy Ridley) standing with a lightsaber in a forest, Poe (Oscar Isaac), Finn (John Boyega), and Rose (Kelly Marie Tran) looking very serious, a group of First order troopers marching to battle, and new characters Allegiant General Pryde (Richard E. Grant) character Jannah (Naomi Ackie). The experience features more than a dozen heroes fans have seen on the big screen, a well-known villain, and many of the cast members fans have come to know. However, immediately upon seeing the ties and connection to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, fans began asking one question: Is it canon to the Marvel Cinematic Universe? We brought this question straight to the team behind Avengers: Damage Control and the answer seems to be: "not really."
