The rumoured bundle would also include an Xbox Live membership, and access to Microsoft's Xbox Game Pass service. A new Xbox console can cost well over £200, or as much as £450 if you want the new Xbox One X. This high price can put customers off – and that's bad for Microsoft. To woo thrifty gamers, Microsoft is reportedly hoping to offer consoles on a contract basis. According to Windows Central, this payment plan will be known as Xbox All Access. There's no confirmed UK price, but the report suggests a $22 monthly fee (roughly £17) for the USA. That would get you an Xbox One S, Xbox Live and Xbox Game Pass for two years. The next Xbox One has been announced at the Microsoft E3 2018 event, with Phil Spencer revealing that the company is working on the "future of play" by way of developing new technologies that will take gaming into the next generation. The new, untitled console will feature Microsoft AI, a new system that will enhance the artificial intelligence of NPCs, and a focus on game streaming that will grant users "console-quality streaming" on mobile devices. Microsoft didn't reveal the design of the upcoming console, nor was its expected launch window announced, though this is the first public acknowledgment from Microsoft that it is actively working on the console. Microsoft has announced a new digital video show called Inside Xbox, and the first episode promises to bring announcements on Sea of Thieves, Xbox One system features, and more.Overall, Inside Xbox aims to offer a "peek behind the curtain" of Xbox as part of Microsoft's ambition to be transparent with fans about how games and consoles are made.
