Paul Thomas Anderson's next movie has a release date – it's set to hit theaters on December 25, after a limited release on November 26. The movie, Anderson's first since 2017's Phantom Thread , currently has the working title Soggy Bottom, but it doesn't have an official title yet. The cast includes Bradley Cooper, Benny Safdie, Alana Haim, and Cooper Hoffman (son of the late Philip Seymour Hoffman, a frequent collaborator of Anderson's). There's no official synopsis yet, either, but the movie will reportedly tell the story of a high school student and successful child actor (Hoffman) who befriends a famous Hollywood director and producer (Cooper). Safide will play a politician running for office. It takes place in the '70s in the San Fernando Valley in California, the same time and setting as Anderson's breakthrough movie Boogie Nights . Google added AR characters from well-known Japanese pop culture franchises in its search function on mobile. You can now find Hello Kitty, Pac-Man , Gundam, Ultraman, Evangelion, and much more represented in their 3D form. A few of the characters, including Cogimyun, Hello Kitty, and Pompompurin, come with their own audio and can "talk." You'll need to be on mobile to use Google AR and view the 14 new characters. While in Google, search for a character's name and then tap on View in 3D. Android devices can access the AR search function in Google search and iOS devices need to go through the Google app. Android 7 Plus with ARCore enabled and iOS 11.0+ devices can view 3D and AR content. I know I'm getting salty when the ' sure's start coming out. " I like Chivalry 2 a lot, but it sure can be infuriating. I got a chance to play the upcoming medieval combat game in a recent alpha test which included both team deathmatch maps and big objective maps. In the objective maps, you've got to run for ten seconds or longer to get to the front line after spawning (spamming C to yell "rauuugh" helps pass the time), and when you get there, you might not get a chance to do anything but die. Maybe you'll be poked to death by three guys with spears, or mobbed by shiny armored knights, or, worst of all, shot through the eye with an arrow.
