Zack Snyder has said he'd like to see a fight between Ben Affleck's Batman and Joe Manganiello's Deathstroke. Both are appearing in Zack Snyder's Justice League , the alternate version of 2017's similarly titled Justice League . Speaking to I Minutemen , Snyder commented: "I love Joe, he's great. I really would love to see those two go at it, that would be fun." He added: "Who knows?" then said, "We know that Ben's gonna be in The Flash movie, which is nice to see him... It's trickling down, it's nice." A showdown between the vigilante and the mercenary was the original plan for Affleck's mooted Batman solo movie. Skull and Bones, Ubisoft's piratical MMO, is turning out to be quite the tease. It was announced in 2017, we got to play it in 2018, but here we are in 2021 and there's no sign of a release date. Not even on the horizon. Not even with a nautical telescope. Recently we did get an update from Ubisoft Singapore, the studio working on the game, to let us know it was still a thing, but had seen significant changes to implement a "new vision" for the project. We're yet to see any trailers or gameplay that show us exactly what that new vision is, but at least it's proof of life. The last time we saw Skull and Bones it borrowed heavily from the naval battles of Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag, and added the chaos and excitement that comes from teaming up with friends online. Publisher Square Enix has announced that the Outriders demo will be getting an update on March 5 at 7 AM PT / 10 AM ET. The update will implement a few balancing changes and quality-of-life improvements. The update is largely aimed at eliminating the grind for loot. The Outriders demo has a lootcave run where players can reload over and over to open the same three chests--which, when done enough times, allows you to eventually get some nice loot, including legendary items. The update eliminates this exploit by ensuring chests will no longer drop legendary items. "While we do not want to prevent farming runs (We get it!), the lootcave discovered via the triple chest-run, as well as the store exploit, do not feel to be within the spirit of the game," the patch notes say. "To that end, we are redirecting farming efforts to mechanics in the game that may be more enjoyable for players to play through and repeat." The MCU is filled with Easter eggs and references. Some are hints of things to come, some are just fun winks. Some, though, are tributes. One of these tributes slips in during the credits to WandaVision, and it goes by in a flash. WandaVision director Matt Shakman revealed the Easter egg in an interview with Screen Rant . "I mean, there are certainly some that folks have noticed that are important," Shakman said. "A certain license plate, perhaps, in an opening title recently. We have to honor Stan Lee, of course." To see it for yourself, pop into WandaVision Episode 7 --the one that starts out with the Office-style credits--and fast forward to just before 4:12. That's when the Easter egg appears. The license plate itself simply reads "WANDA" in all caps, but its the number above that that we're interested in: 122822. Respawn has released a new Apex Legends devstream to further explain the changes being made in the upcoming Chaos Theory event . The devstream also reveals what looks to be an upcoming change to how ultimate abilities may work, an adjustment that wasn't touched on in the Chaos Theory patch notes . At 13:36, Bangalore's ultimate ability finishes charging and you see a prompt pop up for her to say, "My Ultimate is Ready!" So it looks like this next update will add in new voice lines that allow you to call out when your ultimate ability is fully charged and ready to go. This is an awesome addition; we love that Respawn keeps implementing new conversational quips that make it easier to "talk" to teammates without ever having to use a mic. As detailed in the patch notes, a big part of the Chaos Theory update is rebalancing the defender characters--Wattson and Rampart get buffs while Caustic and Gibraltar get nerfs.
