A Spider-Man: Far From Home re-release is swinging into cinemas later this month. Reportedly boasting a ‘never-before-seen action sequence,’ the Spidey sequel becomes the second MCU movie this year to get an extended cut after a version of Avengers: Endgame (featuring a previously-unseen Hulk clip) landed in June.As confirmed by Variety, the Spider-Man: Far From Home re-release will feature four additional minutes of footage, which includes a fight scene that didn’t make it into the final cut.It will release in theaters across the US and Canada on August 29 and will run across the Labor Day weekend. No end date has yet been given. Sorry UK and Europe fans, there’s no news (yet) on Far From Home returning with more material across the pond.Having trouble deciding whether it’s worth double-dipping? While the four additional minutes of material from Spider-Man: Far From Home hasn’t been explicitly revealed, Tom Holland previously said that one action … [Read more...] about Spider-Man: Far From Home is getting re-released with a “never-before-seen action sequence” later this month

Spider-Man: Far From Home runtime confirmed – and it’s one of the shortest Phase 3 movies
The Spider-Man: Far From Home runtime is bound to generate some debate. After all, Avengers: Endgame took the discussion surrounding how long a movie is to a whole new level with its bum-numbing three-hour length. Thankfully, Marvel’s Spidey sequel doesn’t run quite that long – Spider-Man: Far From Home is of the shortest MCU Phase 3 movies. So, drum roll please: The Spider-Man: Far From Home runtime is 129 mins. That’s according to the British Board of Film Classification (H/T CBR). The length of a smidgen over 2 hours means it’s only longer than Doctor Strange (115 mins), Ant-Man and the Wasp (118 mins), and Captain Marvel (123 mins). There are seven longer Phase 3 movies that beat it out.The Spider-Man: Far From Home runtime is actually on the briefer end of the scale, too, when stacked up against some of the other webhead’s flicks over the years. Of course, a movie’s length is not a mark of quality, but it’s worth noting it’s the … [Read more...] about Spider-Man: Far From Home runtime confirmed – and it’s one of the shortest Phase 3 movies
The Avengers: Endgame re-release will reportedly include a new Hulk scene, Stan Lee tribute, and Spider-Man teaser
The Avengers: Endgame re-release, with brand-new footage, is nearly upon us. Heading into US cinemas on Friday, June 28, the push towards knocking Avatar off its lofty billion-dollar perch will include some extra treats for die-hard MCU fans. Not only is there going to be an actual Avengers: Endgame post-credits scene this time around but, apparently, there’s going to be a Stan Lee tribute too.As reported by MCU Cosmic, the new batch of footage will include one of the many, many Avengers: Endgame deleted scenes left on the cutting room floor. Details are a little thin on the ground, but it’ll arrive after the credits and feature the Hulk. That’s interesting for a couple of reasons, namely that Bruce Banner was left badly injured after the events of Endgame, and his future is very much up in the air when it comes to Marvel Phase 4. Here’s hoping that clues us in – and maybe sets up something for his immediate future.Elsewhere, there surely won’t be a … [Read more...] about The Avengers: Endgame re-release will reportedly include a new Hulk scene, Stan Lee tribute, and Spider-Man teaser

By Matthew Hayes - September 5, 2018 03:53 pm EDT Share 6 Comments 6 Marvel's Spider-Man is the best superhero movie you can't buy a ticket to see, and it's one of the best open-world games of the generation. Insomniac Games has shown great audacity in its effort to craft a wholly original Spider-Man story, with its own timeline and set of origin stories. and Having played the game from start to finish, I can say that even the most hardcore comic book fans will have their expectations exceeded by Marvel's Spider-Man's impossible scope and exhaustive fan service. New Justice League Still Reveals Batman on a Horse in the Snyder Cut
By Russ Burlingame - December 6, 2019 02:13 am EST Share 0 Comments 0 Clay Staub, a regular Zack Snyder collaborator who served as the aerial second assistant director on the Justice League shoot, shared a new image of Batman (Ben Affleck) sitting on horseback. It seems to be from his journey to find Aquaman (Jason Momoa) in the film, and as fans have noted, looks and feels more like the Seven Samurai-inspired journey into the wilderness that Snyder had teased for Batman, rather than the fairly perfunctory "getting the gang together" sequence that ended up in the theatrical cut of Justice League when it was released just over two years ago with major changes made to the original film by Joss Whedon. Staub is the latest in an ongoing parade of actors, crew members, and even studio executives to throw their social media voice behind releasing Snyder's vision of the Justice League film. On the two-year anniversary of the film's release, almost every key player … [Read more...] about New Justice League Still Reveals Batman on a Horse in the Snyder Cut
