By Tanner Dedmon - September 17, 2019 10:07 am EDT Share 0 Comments 0 PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is supplementing its Weapon Mastery system with another feature called Survival Mastery, the battle royale game’s team announced this week. Similarly to how the Weapon Mastery system tracks players’ performances with certain weapons, the new system will keep up with different stats pertaining to how the player is doing overall. Playstyles will be measured with traits assigned to players’ post-game performances depending on what they did during the match. An updated “Last Match” menu will also give players a better look at how they did in their most recent game. An announcement on the game’s site previewed the release of PUBG’s Mastery System and showed what it’ll look like once it’s in place. Found under the “Mastery” tab in the game’s menus where the Weapon Mastery system is … [Read more...] about PUBG Reveals New Survival Mastery System

By Tanner Dedmon - September 18, 2019 01:24 pm EDT Share 0 Comments 0 Another PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds update has arrived on the test servers with a new weapon called the “DBS” and sweeping changes to the rest of the game’s shotguns. The DBS itself is a shotgun and features two barrels for twice the firepower. It’s a weapon that’s only limited to Care Packages though, so while finding it might not be as simple as picking up another shotgun, it looks like it’s got the power to make sure you hang on to it. PUBG’s patch notes for the latest update detailed everything that’s changing on the test servers ahead of the patch’s live released. You’ll find that the start of the patch notes is filled with discussions of a new Survival Mastery system along with other changes. Those were revealed not long ago, and you can refresh yourself here if you’re unfamiliar with the plans. To see … [Read more...] about PUBG Is Updating Its Shotguns and Adding a New Weapon
By Tanner Dedmon - October 26, 2019 10:39 am EDT Share 0 Comments 0 There’s a new PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds update on the test servers for those on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One as of this week, one that looks to update Miramar just as the developers took a look at Erangel not long ago. It’s not nearly the size of the update released for the original map, but it’s given the desert battleground a new point of interest, another vehicle, and a general cleanup. Some item adjustments and new vending machines round out the rest of the Miramar update. PUBG’s patch notes for the update were shared on the game’s site to show what’s new in Miramar. All of the content is part of the game’s Season 5 update, though it’s still on the test servers for now. It’ll be released for live servers at a later date, though those on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One who have access to the test servers can see everything now. … [Read more...] about New PUBG Patch Updates Miramar on Consoles

A helicopter belonging to that mysterious group will be responsible for the disappearance of The Walking Dead’s Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) some seven months in the future. Al and Morgan (Lennie James) encounter a frantic lone survivor, Tom (Joe Massingill), when he’s pursued by a small pack of Pioneers. They learn Tom comes from a community of luxury condominiums called Paradise Ridge, since taken over by Virginia and her crew. “They said they were trying to build something bigger, something better,” Tom … [Read more...] about Are Fear the Walking Dead’s New Villains Connected to the Group Who Took Rick Grimes?
By Tanner Dedmon - August 14, 2019 01:49 pm EDT Share 0 Comments 0 PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds has a new update on the test servers that comes with a few new features for the game’s first map. Erangel’s updated look that released not long ago will soon be accompanied by new weather effects and some destructible objects players can either plow through or use as cover, according to the update’s notes. PC players can try out these changes among others on the test servers ahead of the update’s live release. Following up on the massive map overhaul released at the start of this season, the patch notes for Update 4.2 which are found here detail what’s next for PUBG’s Erangel. Over on the test servers, players will notice that there’s some overcast weather covering the map. Unlike other games which might have weather look different but remain static throughout the course of a game, PUBG’s … [Read more...] about PUBG Update Tests Destructible Objects and Overcast Weather for Erangel
