In this episode of Totally Rated, T3 looks at the AMR-C01 Racing Simulator chair, which is a limited-edition combination of gaming chair, steering wheel, and curved monitor or VR headset (your choice), wrapped in a design inspired by race cars. The AMR-C01 is a collaboration between Aston Martin and Curv Racing Simulators, limited to 150 copies. "If you want it to match the color of your car in your driveway, they will do that for you as well," notes T3's Spencer Hart. Hood: Outlaws & Legends is an upcoming PvPvE heist game loosely based on the Robin Hood mythos. Though the Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 versions of the game will only have minor differences performance-wise, the PS5 version will host several DualSense controller improvements. "We've done something quite interesting with the calibration on [the DualSense controller]," Hood: Outlaws & Legends game director Andrew Willans told me. "So you've got the resistance triggers, these adaptive triggers, and they work really well for a bow and arrow, as you can imagine." He continued: "[The controller] recreates that tension of the bow, and--as you loose the arrow--the sensation of the arrow flying, which is really cool. We pushed that further for the melee characters as well, so that as you're swinging John's hammer--the more you're swinging, and your stamina is depleting--it becomes tougher to actually swing; you feel finger fatigue from swinging the hammer." In Hood: Outlaws & Legends , you and your friends won't automatically be the straight-laced heroes of the Robin Hood mythos. Once you've completed your mission and successfully stolen from the rich, you'll have to decide how much of the gold you actually want to give to the poor. "After the match, we present you with this thing called the scales of justice," Hood: Outlaws & Legends game director Andrew Willans told me when I asked him about the game's narrative. "So your gold that you've earned is in two pots, and one is for the people and one is for your pocket, and you can move the gold between those pots to decide where you want to apportion it." A new trailer for medieval multiplayer heist 'em up Hood: Outlaws & Legends has given us a full overview of how the game's competitive breaking and entering will play out. Revealed last year, Hood pits two bands of not-so-merry men and women against each other in a race to nick treasure from heavily defended fortresses. We got a brief glimpse at the game's blend of PvEvP sneaking, stabbing and looting, but today's trailer helps frame that within the context of a high-stakes fantasy heist—narrated by Hitman's Diana Burnwood, if I'm not mistaken. Both teams start on the outskirts of one of these expansive fortresses—and if they want, they can duke it out before ever setting foot in the castle.
