This week's Infinite Frontier #0 includes numerous major developments for DC's new so-called Omniverse , which establishes a vast, infinite world of alt-realities where DC characters can undergo almost any adventure or change, and in which their entire histories are intact and can be drawn upon at any time. Capcom has been working on Resident Evil 9 for more than two years, according to reputable leaker Dusk Golem. In a recent string of tweets discussing Capcom's alleged long-term plans, Dusk Golem explained that "there was a period of time that [Resident Evil 2 Remake, Resident Evil 3 Remake, Resident Evil Outrage, Resident Evil 4 Remake, and Resident Evil 9] were all in development at the exact same time (late 2018)." In a follow-up tweet , they clarified that while Resident Evil 9 is very much a thing, "it's actually not worth even talking about right now" because it's so far out. "I literally cannot see it releasing before 2024," they said. Last year, Capcom suffered a ransomware attack which leaked the projected launch windows for several unannounced games. If you're starved for content starring anime's loudest brawlers, this Saturday's Dragon Ball Games Battle Hour will likely be something worth watching. While it uses Dragon Ball Z's definition of an hour and is actually a 12-hour long event, there'll be plenty of competitive content between top players across games such as Dragon Ball FighterZ , Dragon Ball Legends , and Dragon Ball Super Card Game on March 6. An online arena lobby will allow fans and participants to interact with each other in an attempt to create an in-person environment during the event. Fans can create a unique avatar and use the lobby emote functions to cheer the competitors on during their respective games. Bandai Namco also added that during the closing ceremony there will be announcements made from various Dragon Ball games. The recent demo for upcoming looter-shooter Outriders has been played by over two million people in just a week. Developer People Can Fly isn't resting on its laurels, however, with a significant patch set to arrive at some point next week that fixes a number of issues ahead of the game's full release on April 1 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Stadia. Connectivity issues were a problem when the demo launched last week, so People Can Fly is currently working on the game's backend to ensure the same thing doesn't happen when the full game launches. The developer says that while its infrastructure was ready for the raw number of expected players, the speed with which they were joining exceeded its expectations and the backend systems were unable to scale in time. In the wake of the Pyra/Mythra combination character releasing in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Nintendo has released a new update that buffs several characters with reduced vulnerability and less damage with special attacks. You can look at the full table of changes on the official Nintendo support page , but the majority of the changes allow fighters to not take as much damage with powerful attacks or reduce their vulnerability.
