We're only a matter of weeks away from the release of Monster Hunter Rise , the timed Switch exclusive that looks set to be one of the year's biggest titles, but let's not forget that it's going to be followed in quick succession by Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin - and the RPG spin-off now has a final release date, with it hitting worldwide on July 9th. The original Monster Hunter Stories came out back in 2017, attempting to fuse the traditional RPG gameplay/monster catching of Pokémon with the world of Monster Hunter with some success. Capcom also used the occasion to announce a new demo for Monster Hunter Rise, which prolongs the lifespan of the original demo while adding a new, tough-as-nails quest which has players taking on Rise's signature beastie Magnamalos. Monster Hunter Stories 2 is coming to PC and Nintendo Switch on July 9. Capcom confirmed the final release date during today's Monster Hunter digital showcase. The sequel was first announced for Switch in September 2020, and since Capcom had never even hinted at a PC version until now, it's come as a total surprise. It's wild to think that Monster Hunter, a series which never saw any major PC releases before Monster Hunter World (a translated MMO notwithstanding), is now giving the PC treatment to the sequel for a monster-taming spinoff RPG that started on the Nintendo 3DS. The Falcon and The Winter Soldier are two of Captain America's best friends. And now, there's an upcoming Disney+ series dedicated to these two acquaintances. Arriving on the streaming service on March 19, the next MCU series will bring back the villain from Captain America: Civil War, Zemo. The Falcon and the Winter Soldier stars Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson and Sebastian Stan is Bucky Barnes, reprising their roles from previous Marvel movies. Additionally, they'll be joined by Daniel Brühl as the villainous Helmut Zemo, Emily VanCamp as SHIELD agent Sharon Carter, and Wyatt Russell as John Walker--an infamous character from the comic books. The Falcon and the Winter Soldier won't run as long as WandaVision, as Kevin Feige recently said that six hours in total is where they landed for the MCU shows, and that Falcon and Winter Soldier will be six, hour long episodes. The release dates for several upcoming Disney+ steaming shows have been revealed. This includes Marvel's Loki, Star Wars: The Bad Batch, and the Pixar series Monsters at Work, a sequel to the hit film Monsters Inc. The announcement came during the TCA winter press presentation for Disney+, where more was revealed about the previously mentioned shows and a slew of other originals all launching later this year. Loki will be arriving to Disney+ on June 11. The series will take place after the events of Avengers: Endgame--when Loki escaped capture from the Avengers (in the first Avengers movie) with the Tessaract. Tom Hiddleston will reprise his role of the God of Mischief, and he'll be joined by Owen Wilson, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Sophia Di Martino, Wunmi Mosaku and Richard E. Grant. The Nintendo Switch exclusive Monster Hunter Stories 2 will release on July 9, 2021, Capcom has announced as part of the Monster Hunter Digital Event. A Deluxe Edition of the game was also announced during the livestream. This more expensive edition includes the base game and a series of digital extras, including cosmetic outfits and hairstyles for your character. There is also a special outfit for Ena, along with a sticker set. Additionally, everyone who preorders gets the Kamura Maiden outfit for Ena; it will be available after launch. What's more, there will be three Amiibo for Monster Hunter Stories 2 that will be available on July 9. These include Ena, Razewing Ratha, Tsukino.
