A US law firm is investigating a potential class action over PlayStation 5 DualSense drift. Chimicles Schwartz Kriner & Donaldson-Smith (CSK&D), the firm behind the ongoing class action lawsuit against Nintendo over Joy-Con drift, asked affected customers to get in touch via an online form . "CSK&D is investigating a potential class action based upon reports that Sony PS5 DualSense controllers for the PlayStation 5 console can experience drift issues and/or fail prematurely," the firm said. "Specifically, it is reported that the joystick on certain PS5 DualSense controllers will automatically register movement when the joystick is not being controlled and interfere with gameplay." A US law firm has filed a class action against Sony over alleged PlayStation 5 DualSense drift. This week Chimicles Schwartz Kriner & Donaldson-Smith (CSK&D), the firm behind the ongoing class action against Nintendo over Joy-Con drift , asked affected customers to get in touch via an online form . The DualSense lawsuit has now been filed in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York on behalf of a plaintiff called Lmarc Turner, of Virginia, and other affected customers in the US against Sony Corporation of America and Sony Interactive Entertainment. A US law firm has filed a class action lawsuit against Sony in relation to reports of PS5 DualSense drift. Reports of controller drift began to circulate last week , resulting in specialist class action firm Chimicles Schwartz Kriner & Donaldson-Smith LLP issuing a request for information from players whose controllers are suffering from the issue. It would seem that the firm has now gathered the required details, as the suit was officially filed on Friday. A copy of the complaint sent to GamesRadar claims that "the DualSense controller is defective," thanks to the controller drift, which lawyers state "significantly interferes with gameplay and thus compromises the DualSense controller's core functionality." Elon Musk's car company Tesla has purchased $1.5 billion worth of the cryptocurrency bitcoin and announced that it will accept the currency as a form of payment in the future. CD Projekt has released a statement explaining it's been the victim of a "targeted cyber attack," with some of its internal systems compromised. On Twitter the company explained an unidentified actor had breached its systems and collected data belonging to CD Projekt, and was now threatening to release the contents. CD Projekt said some of its devices had been encrypted by the attack, but that company backups remain intact and it is in the process of restoring its data. Unusually, CD Projekt also released a copy of the ransom note sent by the unidentified actor. They claim to have gained access to "the source codes from [CD Projekt's] Perforce server for Cyberpunk 2077, Witcher 3, Gwent and the unreleased version of Witcher 3". They also claim to have gained access to "all of [CD Projekt's] documents relating to accounting, administration, legal, HR, investor relations and more," although the exact nature of these isn't detailed.
