This March on HBO Max, the rubber hits the road on a pair of movies you've likely been hearing about and following for quite a while. You probably don't even need us to say this, but the next month brings both Zack Snyder's Justice League and Godzilla Vs. Kong. There are, of course, other bright spots worth designating as appointment television as well--let's get into it. To work our way backwards through next month, on March 31, the highly anticipated monster movie Godzilla vs. Kong will hit the streaming platform. The movie is also hitting theaters, but for those who are still observing quarantine HBO Max is obviously the preferable way to catch it. We'd tell you the movie's plot so you have an idea of what to expect, but what's to know? It's freakin' King Kong and Godzilla beating on each other. This is the fourth movie in MonsterVerse, following Godzilla (2014), Kong: Skull Island (2017), and Godzilla: King of the Monsters (2019). What you may need a little bit of a … [Read more...] about New On HBO Max March 2021: Godzilla Vs. Kong, Zack Snyder’s Justice League, South ParQ Vaccination Special, And More

South Park tends to be at its best when there are major events in the news ripe for satire. "The Pandemic Special," a recent one-hour-long special episode--the first in the long-running show's history--is evidence of this, clocking a seven-year ratings high: According to a release, the special drew 2.3 million total viewers on Comedy Central, representing a 168% leap from last season's average rating, and a 178% jump on its average viewership. As the episode title suggests, the special satirizes several aspects of the United States' COVID-19 response--and also touches on the year's increasing headlines on racial unrest. In the special, "Randy comes to terms with his role in the COVID-19 outbreak… [while] the kids happily head back to school, but nothing resembles the normal that they once knew; not their teachers, not their homeroom, not even Eric Cartman." The episode is a standalone special, and is not part of Season 24, which has yet to be announced. "We're thrilled with … [Read more...] about South Park’s Coronavirus Special Is Series’ Highest-Rated Episode In Seven Years
In WandaVision Episode 7, we learned a shocking (or not-so-shocking, depending on how deeply embroiled in fan theories you've been since the show's premiere) truth about Kathryn Hahn's Agnes. Surprise! She's actually been Agatha Harkness all along, and she even gets her very own theme song to prove it. But, like many things in WandaVision, this reveal only served to raise more questions than it answered--namely: Who the hell is Agatha Harkness and why does she matter in Wanda's story? And naturally, while this is still very much a mystery for the MCU, we can look to Agatha's bizarre comic book history for clues. Agatha Harkness was first introduced in Fantastic Four #94 back in 1970, but before you break out the red string and start connecting dots on your MCU F4 conspiracy walls just yet, know that her role with the first family of Marvel was a little odd. Rather than existing as a villain for anyone in the Richards family, Agatha was a governess--a fancy nanny--to Reed and Sue's … [Read more...] about WandaVision: Who Is Agatha Harkness And Why Does She Matter?
The new Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War update has reduced the size of the Moscow multiplayer map. As you can see below, a discovery was made over on the Black Ops Cold War subreddit earlier today. It turns out that the update used to pre-load Season 2 of Black Ops Cold War, which was put out earlier today , has actually reduced the size of the Moscow map, which we've been able to confirm for ourselves by exploring the map in a multiplayer match. After the update moscow has become smaller from r/blackopscoldwar The post above does a really good job of showcasing how the Moscow map in Black Ops Cold War has been reduced in size. Notably, two areas have been cut off: one in the very southwestern corner of the map, and another to the very east of the map, at the end of the long road skirting the southern edge of the Moscow map. You can see the new end point for the eastern edge of the Moscow map in the screenshot just below, which would have previously extended to the … [Read more...] about Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War patch shrinks Moscow multiplayer map
If there was one huge downside to BlizzCon 2021 being entirely online, it was that thousands of fans didn't get to experience the distinct joy of walking through the Anaheim Convention Center surrounded by some incredible cosplay. But even though the show was digital-only, Blizzard still held its traditional cosplay contest , and this year's winner wasn't just the best cosplay at the show—I'm pretty sure this is the most impressive cosplay I've ever seen. You can see a video of the cosplay above, which is of Bolvar Fordragon, a Warcraft paladin with some very dry skin. He's one of the central characters in the new Shadowlands expansion and most well-known for sitting on the Frozen Throne after players finally killed Arthas, the Lich King, in Wrath of the Lich King. Here's a screenshot of Bolvar as he appears in game, and here's one of Blizzard's official art renderings of him just so you can compare. Hartigan , the mastermind behind this costume, did an incredible job … [Read more...] about Behold, the greatest World of Warcraft cosplay ever
