Return to the bygone high school days of CW's Riverdale in the upcoming graphic novel Riverdale: The Ties That Bind . Writer Micol Ostow and artist Thomas Pitilli are telling a Four Rooms-style story of Archie and the gang - four stories, all taking place over a matter of a few hours - standalone, but better together. Silent Hill will return in the form of DLC for the indie multiplayer game Dark Deception: Monsters & Mortals on March 23. While it isn't the new Silent Hill that fans have been hoping for for years at this point, the DLC does bring back some franchise favorites like Heather Mason, killer nurses, and--of course--Pyramid Head. The gameplay trailer below shows off the lakeside town's foggy streets, as well as several locations from the first game, including Midwich Elementary School. Watch out for those flying harpies, though, they're pretty nasty. The DLC even includes some lesser-known characters from the series, including Silent Hill 1's cop Cybil Bennett. As a whole, it looks like a fairly substantial chunk of content for the game, though its price is not yet listed on Steam . Time hasn't been kind to Max Payne, the New York cop who used to woo us - or perhaps 'Woo' us - by diving around in slow motion blasting organised crime to pieces. In one of the bleakest game intros I've ever seen, Max begins his latest adventure by arriving at his new Sao Paolo apartment, getting the shakes, then draining a bottle of bourbon, chain-smoking and smashing a photograph of his dead family against a wall in his torment. Press Start. If Max Payne 2 was The Fall of Max Payne, then Max Payne 3 is Max at rock bottom. He starts the game in a purgatorial funk, bodyguard to a Brazilian industrialist and his family of rich playboys and politicians, drinking his way through the days - the end of chapter one sees him lurching around his apartment, throwing up in the kitchen sink and then crying himself to sleep - while we listen along to his internal monologue.
