Zack Snyder's DC universe was set to end with a major reboot, according to Justice League storyboard artist Jay Oliva. Snyder has been open about his now-scrapped plans for Justice League 2 and 3, explaining that, after Lois Lane's death, Superman was set to succumb to Darkseid's Anti-Life Equation – then after some time traveling from the remaining Leaguers and their allies, Batman would sacrifice himself to save Lois, and Superman would help in the fight against Darkseid in the trilogy's final installment. At the fan-organized Justice Con event, though, Oliva talked about what might have happened next. Responding to comments about the end point of Snyder's plans for the DCEU, Oliva said: "Yeah, I mean, I think that was the plan, was that they would do like the four or five parters and then we would do a Flashpoint kind of reboot, where you can bring in a new cast afterwards." In this week's Spider-Woman #11 from Marvel Comics, Jessica Crew is switching out of her new 2020 suit and back into her classic '70s duds designed by the late Marie Severin . But not without a few improvements, by series artist Pere Pérez. "The last ten issues pushed Jessica places she never wants to go again, but she survived," reads Marvel's description of the issue. "Now, it's time to show the world who Spider-Woman truly is!" Batman has already shown up in the hit battle royale game Fortnite, and now that battle has expanded back to the Dark Knight's home territory of comics. Available now in comic shops and on most digital platforms, Batman/Fortnite: Zero Point #1 (of 6)  drops DC's Dark Knight onto the Island for round-after-round of 22-minute battles. More than ten years after its original release, cult classic JRPG Nier Replicant is being rebuilt for modern hardware. Debuting on PS3, Nier originally followed a father's quest to cure his ailing young daughter Yonah. Now Nier returns reimagined as a previously Japan-exclusive teen protagonist and his journey to heal Yonah – now his sister – has been extensively retooled. Nier Replicant producer, Yosuke Saito, tells us, "The base of the story is the same, but the differences in setting change the style and content of dialogue, so I think that the biggest appeal is the difference in emotional experiences." As for the other changes, Saito says, "I believe that [original director] Yoko Taro was being modest when he decided to call it a Version Up."
