Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice has had a decent launch on Steam. Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, From Software’s newest game, officially launched worldwide on Friday. This is also true for the PC version, where the game has been available exclusively through Steam. With every high-profile Steam launch come concurrent player number comparisons, and in this case, Sekiro appears to have had a good, albeit slightly calm, launch. Since Friday, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice went on to have a peak of 124,334 players concurrently, according to Steam Charts as well as Steam’s own stats page. Depending on the time of day, Sekiro jumped between the fourth, and fifth spots on Steam’s most active games list, sitting behind giants Dota 2, PUBG, and CS:GO. Shadows Die Twice is to appear in Japan, according to an announcement from From Software. The event will be held in Osaka on October 14. From Gaming Event will allow players to try Sekiro Shadows Die Twice. The venue is MyDome Osaka located in Honmachibashi where four From Software games will be playable from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm JST. Each game they present has a different age rating which means not all games would be accessible to you. Depending on your age, you may or may not get to try Sekiro Shadows Die Twice. The developer of Sekiro Shadows Die Twice, From Software, has stated that the game will not be made to attract a certain type of players as many were left in confusion when the game was announced in partnership with Activision. Sekiro Shadows Die Twice was announced at E3 2018 with a trailer which surprised everyone and can be considered the biggest game to be announced at E3. We also got to know that it will be much harder than Bloodborne and Dark Souls but it’s not an RPG and also doesn’t have multiplayer. FromSoftware has been sharing some hints lately regarding their upcoming game, which is assumed to be the next big project since the closure of the cult Dark Soul Series in 2016. In the last years Game Awards, the trailer of Shadows Die Twice was released. Now those of you who have seen it know that it was a dark trailer filled with bones, blood, and metal which got most of the fans thinking that it could possibly be Bloodborne 2. Last year at The Game Awards, From Software teased a game that many believed to be Bloodborne 2. However, according to an insider, project Shadows Die Twice is not exclusive to any platform. If true, this rules out the possibility of Bloodborne 2, which as you may know, is owned by Sony Interactive Entertainment. The leaker who goes by Omnipotent on ResetEra, stated that From Software will only be showing one game at E3 2018; and that game is project Shadows Die Twice, otherwise known in the digital realm as Bloodborne 2. The insider claims that this project is not exclusive to any platform which means that either Bloodborne 2 is going to be multiplatform (nope!) or this isn’t Bloodborne 2 at all.
