Ubisoft’s online action role-playing video game developed by Massive Entertainment Tom Clancy’s The Division just had an update rolled out. The update 1.8.1 contains some fixes to the issues and exploits that were present before. If you guys remember a few months back among many other issues and exploits there was one really hefty exploit that the players discovered. The God-mode exploit which many of the players were using an advantage in the game. Although Ubisoft fixed that exploit later on. The patch notes from the PlayStation 4 update 1.18 of the game are also available for you to get the details of what are the actual changes and fixes. The same bundle is back for an encore run--the only difference is it no longer includes a 66% discount on any Ubisoft games.The Humble Bundle offers a number of games at different payment tiers with Call of Juarez: Gunslinger, Grow Home, and Rayman Origins at the $1 level. Have You Played? is an endless stream of game retrospectives. One a day, every day, perhaps for all time. If I had infinite lives, I’d waste at least one of them playing Tom Clancy’s The Division. Three things matter about The Division. One, it’s set in a snow-covered and largely abandoned New York which is atmospheric and beautiful. Two, it’s about shooting men in the head until they drop loot, then using that loot to shoot more men in the head in a propulsive loop. Three, some of those men are wearing explosive gas canisters, which you can shoot so that the men explode. Sometimes, this is all I need from a videogame. The rest of The Division might be dumb, but I had several very pleasant afternoons playing the game with Adam and by myself. If I had more time and less guilt about sinking into such empty experiences, I can imagine spending many more hours just grinding through its world on a cycle of shoot shoot and loot loot. The Division’s current Global Event is called Ambush, and it asks players to play tactically and take things slow. Ambush is available from now until January 30. Like every Global Event, Ambush comes with a few modifiers. Things are a bit different this time, though. The eponymous modifier increases the damage you deal to enemies while stationary. The Covert Ambush modifier means that your plus health decreases while moving, while the Strategic Ambush applies the same debuff when close to allies. Ubisoft wants players to stay in cover, moving only when necessary. The more you stay still, the higher the damage you’ll be dealing to enemies. There’ll be a progress bar above your health that shows how close you are to maximising the buff.
