Zack Snyder's DC universe was set to end with a major reboot, according to Justice League storyboard artist Jay Oliva. Snyder has been open about his now-scrapped plans for Justice League 2 and 3, explaining that, after Lois Lane's death, Superman was set to succumb to Darkseid's Anti-Life Equation – then after some time traveling from the remaining Leaguers and their allies, Batman would sacrifice himself to save Lois, and Superman would help in the fight against Darkseid in the trilogy's final installment. At the fan-organized Justice Con event, though, Oliva talked about what might have happened next. Responding to comments about the end point of Snyder's plans for the DCEU, Oliva said: "Yeah, I mean, I think that was the plan, was that they would do like the four or five parters and then we would do a Flashpoint kind of reboot, where you can bring in a new cast afterwards." Almost two months after it was released, Microsoft Flight Simulator will receive its first substantial update next week. World Update 1 will be a free upgrade that focuses on Japan, using an improved digital elevation map of the entire country and high-resolution 3D photogrammetry that adds six Japanese cities to the game: Sendai, Takamatsu, Tokushima, Tokyo, Utsunomiya, and Yokohama. There will also be six new airports to visit, such as the Hachijojima, Kerama, Kushiro, Nagasaki, Shimojishima, and Suwanosejima complexes. Three new Landing Challenges completes the free package, which will be available for download on Xbox Game Pass for PC , Windows 10, and Steam on September 29. Microsoft Flight Simulator is an intricate game of authentic aviation, one that challenges would-be pilots to take control of a number of aircraft and safely fly across the globe. It's an impressive feat for anyone to achieve, but such a task is even more astounding when handled by the Twitch community. No stranger to playing games as a collective after conquering Pokemon and Dark Souls , Twitch took on Microsoft Flight Simulator thanks to the efforts of Rami Ismail, formerly of Vlambeer . While Twitch Plays Microsoft Flight Simulator did run into some initial technical difficulties, such as a Twitch member constantly powering down the engines before take-off , the group still managed to successfully fly a Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner for an hour. Paul Dano and Kunal Nayyar have joined Adam Sandler in the upcoming Netflix sci-fi comedy, Spaceman, Deadline reports. Carey Mulligan has previously been confirmed to star. Spaceman follows an astronaut (Sandler) who's sent to the edge of the galaxy to collect mysterious ancient dust as he finds his earthly life falling to pieces. He turns to the only voice who can help him try to put it back together – which just happens to belong to a creature from the beginning of time lurking in the shadows of his ship. Mulligan will play Sandler's character's wife, but Dano and Nayyar's roles haven't been confirmed. Johan Renck, the Emmy-winning director of the HBO series Chernobyl, will direct the movie. He's also directed episodes of Breaking Bad, The Walking Dead, and Vikings, and he's an executive producer on the upcoming The Last of Us TV show . Announced at today's PlayStation Future of Gaming stream, Stray is an upcoming PS5 game starring a cat lost in a neon-lit future where robots have taken over. The game was conceived by BlueTwelve founders Viv and Koola over a pint of beer, starting as a concept called HK_Project from which you might've seen a few GIFs. In an article on the PlayStation Blog , Viv breaks down the inspiration behind the game and its prancing, pouncing little hero.
