Paul Thomas Anderson's next movie has a release date – it's set to hit theaters on December 25, after a limited release on November 26. The movie, Anderson's first since 2017's Phantom Thread , currently has the working title Soggy Bottom, but it doesn't have an official title yet. The cast includes Bradley Cooper, Benny Safdie, Alana Haim, and Cooper Hoffman (son of the late Philip Seymour Hoffman, a frequent collaborator of Anderson's). There's no official synopsis yet, either, but the movie will reportedly tell the story of a high school student and successful child actor (Hoffman) who befriends a famous Hollywood director and producer (Cooper). Safide will play a politician running for office. It takes place in the '70s in the San Fernando Valley in California, the same time and setting as Anderson's breakthrough movie Boogie Nights . If a now-removed listing on the Polish PlayStation website is to be believed, PlayStation Plus members are soon going to get video content included with their subscription. It's a move that would give Sony's service something that isn't available to Xbox Live Gold or Game Pass subscribers, but details are scarce at the moment. Spotted by VGC prior to being taken down, the listing on the Sony website described PS Plus Video Pass, a service available to subscribers in the country from tomorrow, April 22, until the same date in 2022. This would come just before Sony stops offering video content for sale via the PlayStation Store, and appears to give access to big Sony movies like Venom and Zombieland: Double Tap. It's no secret that securing a preorder for the PlayStation 5 has been tough, especially after retailers began offering them right after Sony's showcase earlier this week. But it seems even if you have managed to lock down an order, you might not get a console on release day. That's the case over at Amazon, which has begun emailing customers about potential delays for PS5 orders that might result in shipping after the November 12 launch. The email cites the incredible demand for the console as the reason for delays and says that updates will be communicated to affected customers. "We're contacting you about your order of PlayStation 5 Console to let you know in advance that you may not receive this item on the day it is released due to high demand. We'll make every effort to get the item to you as soon as possible once released."
