The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim has been ported to just about everything at this point, including Nintendo Switch and even Amazon Alexa. But Modiphius Entertainment sees one more platform it can be on: cardboard. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim - The Board Game is in the works, and it appears the company will be seeking crowdfunding to make it possible. In a listing on the crowdfunding site Gamefound , Modiphius described The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim - The Board Game as an "epic cooperative board game" that will be playable by one to four players. It's honestly baffling that it took this long for a Skyrim board game to be made at all. Naturally, it will take place on Skyrim itself, and it will be more of an adventure-style game than the miniatures-based The Elder Scrolls: Call To Arms game that Modiphius already announced. The company did hint, however, that you may be able to use your Call To Arms figures for this game in some fashion. Modiphius didn't share much else about the … [Read more...] about The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Is Getting A Board Game

Smash Bros. Ultimate Adds Bravely Default 2 Spirits
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is celebrating this week's launch of Bravely Default II with a new Spirit Board event. The event is now underway and introduces the four Heroes of Light from Square Enix's newest Switch RPG as Spirits. The heroes are paired up to make two different Spirits: Seth & Gloria and Elvis & Adelle. Each of those will appear periodically on the Spirit Board throughout the event. You'll also earn extra Spirit Points each time you defeat the new Bravely Default Spirits. The event runs until 10 PM PT on March 2. Bravely Default II launched for Switch on February 26. Despite the number in its title, it's actually the third proper installment in its series thus far, following the original Bravely Default and its sequel, Bravely Second. Bravely Default II is also a self-contained adventure, featuring an original cast of characters and story. We scored the new RPG a 6/10 in our Bravely Default II review . "There's a lot to like and a core that's still fun … [Read more...] about Smash Bros. Ultimate Adds Bravely Default 2 Spirits
Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Patch Notes — Outbreak Bugs Squashed
Treyarch has released a new update for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, and almost all of it addresses issues players have encountered since Outbreak launched with Season 2. The ambitious new mode is a large-scale spin on Zombies, complete with its own story, so it's hardly surprising that some rough edges needed to be fixed. Outbreak received a general stability improvement as part of the update, particularly regarding objectives and both the Krasny Soldat and the Dragon Relic. You also shouldn't see Mimics teleport away after they're spawned from loot chests, nor should the HVT Megaton split when it's hit by a vehicle. A few other fixes were also included in the update, such as UI and tooltips not showing up correctly, and a player's Operator model disappearing. It's not the largest update we've seen in Call of Duty, but we got one of those just a few days ago . In fact, the file sizes for both Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Warzone have gotten so large that players … [Read more...] about Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Patch Notes — Outbreak Bugs Squashed
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Stream To Take Deep Dive On DLC Fighters Pyra And Mythra March 4
Nintendo recently announced Xenoblade's Pyra and Mythra are coming to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate , but we'll get a much more detailed look at their moves next week. The company has announced an in-depth stream on the new fighters coming March 4 at 6 AM PT / 9 AM ET. The stream will once again be hosted by game director Masahiro Sakurai, and the announcement promises that he'll reveal a release date. In the past, these Smash Bros. fighter streams have announced that the new fighters are coming very shortly after, usually within a day, so that may mean Pyra and Mythra are releasing next week as well. Pyra and Mythra hail from the RPG Xenoblade Chronicles 2 , and unlike some other similar Smash characters, Mythra isn't an Echo Fighter for Pyra. Instead, you can swap between them at will as one character. We know this will make a difference to their Final Smash move--Pyra uses Burning Sword and Mythra uses Sacred Arrow--but it's a fair bet that there will be other differences as … [Read more...] about Super Smash Bros.
